5-Day Pattern Challenge in Procreate: Designing Geometric Patterns, Day 1

  • Day 1 of my 5-Day Geometric Pattern Challenge

  • We've been learning how to create full drop, half drop, and half brick repeat patterns in Procreate for the last few months. Now it's a good time to practice our pattern making skills and undertake a 5-day pattern challenge.

  • In this challenge, we will create a geometric pattern a day for 5 days straight by drawing lines and shapes. I approached this challenge as a way to design a geometric pattern collection of 5 designs with the intention to license them on POD (print on demand) sites. That's why there's a level of complexity to each of my 5 designs you are about to see.

  • If you are also doing this 5-day pattern challenge, you don't need to design complex patterns. Just let your mind free and create a geometric pattern a day for 5 days in a row and see what happens.
